Personal Interests

I am passionate about travel, language learning, sports, and mentoring. I have explored 20 states, 13 countries, and 5 continents, always seeking new experiences and perspectives. I enjoy studying languages—currently Arabic and French—and believe that learning opens doors to new cultures and ideas.

Sports and physical activity are my lifelong passions. I have played soccer and basketball since childhood, and have also tried boxing and long-distance running. In 2025, I completed my first sub-2 hour half marathon, a milestone that reflects my dedication to staying active and challenging myself.

Mentoring and community outreach are important to me. I worked with AVELA (A Vision for Engineering Literacy & Access) to mentor and teach students programming and Arduino basics in the greater Seattle area. AVELA is a student group at the University of Washington dedicated to bridging opportunity gaps in public education through workshops, camps, panels, and outreach—centering the experience of younger underrepresented minority students.

I am driven by curiosity, a love for learning, and a desire to empower others through education and shared experiences.
